The ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ (PIDS) will hold a public webinar on November 23, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, via Zoom.

This webinar will feature the PIDS study titled “” authored by PIDS Vice President Marife M. Ballesteros, ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ Consultants Elmer S. Mercado and Amillah Rodil-Ocampo, Supervising ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ Specialist Tatum Ramos, Senior ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ Specialist Pauline Joy Lorenzo, and ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ Specialist Jenica Ancheta.

The study explores the concept of interlocal cooperation in addressing the resource limitations of local government units in the Philippines, particularly in efficiently delivering urban services. It investigates models of cooperation in the delivery of critical urban services, such as solid waste management and health care, and evaluates the management structure, financing strategies, sustainability, and issues affecting operationalization.
